  1. Missed the part around the end of March where it seems like it’s getting warmer, like two straight weeks of 40+ then whomp, 13 inches of snow.

  2. I live way up in northern Canada.

There is snow on the ground from early October until mid April. It never melts then comes back, just accumulates more and more as the winter goes on. We accept it. Funny thing is, what I find cold in October-November actually feels warm in March-April (even though it isn’t). The body just acclimates to it every year.

  3. For vancouver, just replace the snow with rain and it goes all year round, and the only stage is depression

  4. In England extreme temps only last for a few weeks a year. Too hot for two weeks, too cold for two weeks. Chilly and rainy for about 6 to 7 months, nice temp and fairly sunny for the rest. Mostly thanks to the gulf stream.

  5. Meanwhile here in Arizona I’m complaining having to use my AC already to stay comfortable… just bidding my time to get north.

  6. I never get to acceptance. Just one glorious day the sun comes and melts the snow away. But living in New England I know I can never truly trust it is gone. If it shows in July I wouldn’t be shocked at all.
